Famous Stars and Straps (or simply Famous) is an American clothing and accessory line created by Travis Barker on December 8, 1999, best known for being the drummer in the band blink-182. The company is based in Ontario, California.

Famous Stars And Straps clothing is influenced by music genres such as punk rock and hip hop. Since their initial boom, Famous has become a respected brand in the skate, BMX, and motorcycle arenas with sponsored riders like Rick Thorne, Dave Dillewaard, and Luis Tolentino. Their stylized "F" logo, known as the "Badge of Honor", has quickly become synonymous with the brand.

Based in Ontario, California, Famous specializes in tee-shirts, jackets, hats, and other accessories, but also sell shoes branded as the FMS shoe line.

FSAS clothing has been worn by many celebrities including Barker himself, Barker's band mates Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, skateboarder Jereme Rogers, B-Real ofCypress Hill, Sonic Syndicate, Tim Armstrong, Rob Aston, Lil Jon, Roger Argenis, Craig Fairbaugh, DJ Premier, Cassidy, Paul Wall, Bryan Williams, Birdman, The Game, Adil Omar, Kim Kardashian, Eminem, Yelawolf, Steve Jocz of Sum 41, and Fergie of The Black Eyed Peas (who wore the clothing on the cover of DUB Magazine).

Lee Gaze of Lostprophets is also seen sporting a Famous t-shirt throughout the music video for thefakesoundofprogress. Synyster Gates of Avenged Sevenfold has worn their "Wild Ones" shirts during several concerts. Brooke Burke also wore the clothing on the cover of Transworld Stance magazine in June 2003. Matt Tuck of Welsh metalcore band Bullet for My Valentine also wore a FSAS vest throughout the music video for Hand of Blood and also Fluorescent Exit drummer Joe Collen wears the FSAS label. Also the young British drumming sensations Will Hassell and Harry Carman also are endorsees of the FSAS brand. Dru Wakely of comedy band The Midnight Beast is usually seen wearing the brand's shirts in music videos and on tour with the band.

CAN A DRUMMER GET SOME ?-"Give The Drummer Some"

Travis Barker‘s eagerly-anticipated debut solo album Give The Drummer Some, many of you undoubtedly wondered what the sweet sizzurp-y tones of Lil Wayne might sound like backed up by the maniacal yet masterful drumming of Barker. Well, your wait is substantially shorter than the one for this album as, courtesy of 2DopeBoyz, we have “Can A Drummer Get Some” to enjoy on this most glorious of days. Not only do we get Weezy, but also throwing down verses are Rick Ross and The Game, not to mention sonic support from Swizz Beatz. That should be enough until you get some more when Give The Drummer Some hits stores March 15th via Interscope Records.

Travis and Wayne

When production duo Play N Skillz started putting out feelers for people to appear on the remix of Lil Wayne's "Got Money" — a track they produced — Travis Barker was one of the first people to respond and record his part for it. One day before the recent plane crash that killed four people and seriously injured Barker and DJ AM, the drummer was in the studio, giving "Got Money" a beautiful beat-down with brand-new thunderous beats.

"We talked to Lil Chris [Baker], his assistant who died in the crash,on Sunday in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the brothers were performing as part of the third annual New Mexico Takeover. "[Chris] was lining up the remix thing with Travis. I'd never met Travis, but we spoke two days before this happened. He went in the studio, did the 'Got Money' remix. We were really excited about that. Then you wake up one morning, and it's like, 'F---!' "

"It shows how fast something can happen," Skillz added. "The day before his crash, he had just did the drums to the 'Got Money' remix."

Play N Skillz said they took it upon themselves to try to spearhead a remix to the smash single. On Sunday, they had not yet spoken to Waynepersonally about the new song but had talked to members of his camp.

The duo said Sunday that there could be multiple remixes for the song, suggesting that one remix could feature just Barker on the drums, another might have Travis and various other MCs (they mentioned Slim Thug, Bun Band Game), or Weezy might decide to lay down some new vocals. At press time the MC details had not been finalized, but Barker's contribution was complete.

"We took it upon ourselves," Play said of the remix. "So many people are doing remixes anyways. We spoke to [Wayne's artist] Mack Maine, who's on the record. We told him what was going on. This whole process with Wayne has never been a very personal relationship. It's been so third-party, but it works. He probably doesn't want to be bothered with that type of thing. I guess he's like, 'Let me get in my space and do what I do.' If Wayne gets involved, even better. I didn't think he's not gonna wanna be a part of it. We're just trying to be innovative, and if anything, it can go to the Internet and to the fans."

Besides the Wayne remix, Barker was also working on several songs forPaul Wall's upcoming LP, The Fast Life, before the crash.

Barker and DJ AM remain hospitalized in Georgia following Friday night's crash. They are in serious but stable condition. The two entertainers were the only two survivors of six passengers. In addition to Baker, Barker's bodyguard, Charles "Che" Still, and the plane's pilots died in the crash. Barker and AM suffered serious burns but are expected to make full recoveries.

Bill Kaulitz likes to party. It's one of his hobbies, actually. Blink-182 Confirm Reunion On Grammy Stage...isnt that cool?

It's official: With an introduction of "together again," Blink-182 confirmed that they are back in the Blink business at the Grammy Awards Sunday night (February 8) when they appeared onstage together for the first time in four years.

Emerging to sounds of their 1999 hit "What's My Age Again," bassist Mark Hoppus, drummer Travis Barker — wearing a sling on his injured left arm — and estranged guitarist Tom DeLonge walked out together, with Hoppus joking, "Isn't it great to see the Jonas Brothers and Stevie Wonder back together again?" after the unlikely pairing performed a medley of the Bros' "Burning Up" and Wonder's "Superstition." Barker added, "We used to play music together, and we decided we're going to play music together again," as DeLonge stood awkwardly to the side. Hoppus also yelled, "Blink-182 is back!"

The band's official Web site also confirmed the good news, with a banner that read simply, "Summer 2009." A message from the band explained, "Hi. We're Blink-182. This past week there've been a lot of questions about the current status of the band, and we wanted you to hear it straight from us. To put it simply, We're back. We mean, really back. Picking up where we left off and then some. In the studio writing and recording a new album. Preparing to tour the world yet again. Friendships reformed. 17 years deep in our legacy. Summer 2009. Thanks and get ready."

Hopes were high for the announcement when, on Thursday, it was revealed that the trio would be presenting an award at the Grammys. And they got even higher when Angels & Airwaves guitarist David Kennedy appeared to let slip in a Web chat that same day that Blink were going to record an album this year.
